Chennai/Colombo, Aug 28 (PTI) A Sri Lankan Air Force transport aircraft with seven soldiers and two crew members today landed under emergency conditions at Anna International Airport here following a technical problem. The Visakhapatnam-bound AN-32, which took off from Colombo, made an unscheduled landing at 8:15 am after it developed a technical fault mid-air, airport officials said. All the seven soldiers besides the pilot and the co-pilot were safe, they said. In Colombo, Airforce spokesman Andy Wijesuriya said work was on to rectify the defect.
